Your birth doula will be with you throughout the peaks and valleys of your journey, offering continuous support from your prenatal experience, to labor and into the first hours after your baby is born. She will provide you with physical support such as suggesting different labor and birthing positions, rubbing your shoulders and creating or maintaining a calm & peaceful environment for you to welcome your little one. Your doula will provide emotional support, by putting your mind at rest, motivating you to keep to your goal, intuitively tuning into your needs as you focus on your birth, and assisting in navigating as your birth takes its own unique path. Your doula will provide informational & educational support by expressing and relating to what you may be experiencing, preparing you to know & observe your own experiences as safe, and advocating what is most important to you. All the while, your doula will provide support to your partner and your family, by holding space and offering guidance for them to participate in your birth journey as you are comfortable.

PROVIDING YOU WITH:
A no-obligation consultation where we get to know each other and answer any questions you may have.
Three-to-four prenatal visits during which we will build trust, discuss roles, responsibilities, expectations, any fears or concerns, review your options and birth plan, as well as practice comfort measures. One of the prenatal visits will be special in that you’ll have two doulas from the collective present, your primary and your back-up, to provide you with intentional education and compassionate support to meet your prenatal needs. This a great opportunity to meet your back-up doula!
During labor, provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to the laboring mother and her partner, from whenever the doula is called upon, until settled after the birth. As well as, help facilitate communication between family + medical staff.
Photos available during labor and immediately after the birth, if family so desires. We’ll also happily recommend a local birth photographer for exceptionally beautiful photos.

Basic breastfeeding help.
Visit once or twice postpartum to go over your journey into motherhood and make sure you have all the support and references you need for this new stage in your lives. During this time, we will be sure to help affirm attachment, troubleshoot any breastfeeding issues and answer questions about new mama and new baby care, and provide closure.
Complete phone & email support. until 6 weeks postpartum.
Built-in backup doula services through the collective, for the rare case that your doula is. not able to attend your birth due to emergency or sickness. You'll have another professional, skilled doula on-call and available in the event that you need some outside experience or hands-on support.
Birth & health resource recommendations.
On-call birth services for two weeks before and two weeks after due date.

NORTHERN WILLAMETTE VALLEY: $800
PORTLAND + AT-DISTANCE FAMILIES: $1200
50% deposit due upon signing of contract to reserve your estimated birth window, which includes a non-refundable registration fee of $300.
Paid in-full before going on call at 37 weeks
